Protecting Montana Rivers
Senator Tester's proposed Montana Headwaters Legacy Act is pushing to protect 336 miles of river in Montana as Wild and Scenic.
With the massive influx of people due to the COVID Pandemic, there is no time better than the present to protect the wild and beautiful places that make Montana so appealing. Senator Jon Tester is looking to protect 336 miles of Montana Rivers with his Montana Headwaters Legacy Act. This move would be a huge step in the right direction especially with the mine starting on Sheep Creek, a tributary to the Smith River, and the proposed "Glamping" project on the Gallatin.
