2011 General Fishing Season
The 2011 Montana General Fishing opens May 21st this year. Most of the small creeks that have been closed during the winter will open as well as other places such as those portions of the Upper Madison that have been closed since February. A handful of small creeks will remain closed to allow the spring spawners (Cuttroat, Grayling, and Rainbow Trout) to do their thing. There are a few other exceptions so check the regulations before you head out! Let’s make this a great fishing season!
