Bozeman Fly Shop | Reflections
Looking down the next run, the water was gold with reflections that hid all character and life from my seemingly rapidly aging eyes. I thought to myself that life is indeed moving faster now than days gone by. The familiarity of moving water reminded me that all new water is like all water, it just might look a little different. I stacked some mends, cast further upstream, mended again, and let the rig run along the shelf. The indicator went down and I was tight to a trout once again. I appreciated the value of wisdom gained through experience, smiled, and celebrated the moment with friends. Fishing is more.
