Caddis Time?

We’ve heard people are starting to see some Caddis on the Lower Madison. Usually it takes a few warm days in a row to really get them going, but they should be around in good numbers soon! The Mothers Day Caddis is a great hatch to get your dry fly itch scratched before runoff, don’t miss it!

If your wondering what to fish, my favorite set up for the Mothers Day hatch is a Peacock Elk Hair Caddis up top, followed by a Mothers Day Caddis Pupa. I often find fish are more eager to eat the pupa than the dry, especially when there are a lot of naturals on the water
