Cold Bozeman Days gets One Thinking…
Watching the snow blow and the temperature plummet yesterday got me to thinking that I should maybe get out of here and head back South for a few more weeks!
I had the good fortune of joining up with some guys at Yellow Dog Fly Fishing back in early December on an exploratory trip to a couple of potential new operations in Mexico. The plan was to spend 5 days at a place called Scorpion Atoll followed by a quick trip to Villahermosa for some baby Tarpon fishing. The adventure ended up being – as they always are – more about all of the in-between things that made the trip so memorable and fun.
I’ll be sharing trip reports and some photos from the trip in some new posts next week, but here are a few photos to keep you warm here in Bozeman today. We will be at the fly shop, counting packages of beads, organizing our year-end guide trip paperwork, and thinking about being warm again! Stop on by our Bozeman fly shop and see us if you are out about town today!
Want to get away this winter? Join me as I head to Ascension Bay Jan 20-25 for a few days of fishing the flats out of Pesca Maya on a Fins & Feathers hosted fly fishing trip.
