Fins & Feathers Staff

When it comes to knowledgeable staff, Fins and Feathers Bozeman absolutely does not have a deficit. We have folks working for us that have been fishing for well over 30 years and tying for just as long. With that being said, some of our younger staff members and previous staff are making big moves in the industry.

Our own Steven Rendle just had a fly picked up by Umpqua Feather Merchants, which will be released in 2019. His badass Low Rider Stone pattern has the potential to be more of a hit than the Chubby Chernobyl. It is remarkably effective and catches some unbelievable trout all while being easy to see on the water’s surface. Make sure to stock up on this pattern when we get them in next season.

Karlie Roland, who worked for Fins a few years ago, has become the first female guide for TroutHunter Lodge in Island Park, ID. This sweet flick, “Where It All Started” stars Karlie and tells the story of her new guide position.

We are incredibly excited for these two and proud of our current staff and guides for helping people catch fish all season. Our other big project, the mobile fly shop — aka the FlyFishTruck — is a completely unique experience that can be found around Bozeman to help people with casting and provide fly fishing knowledge. All of our staff know their stuff and are happy to share to help our customers have success on any of our Bozeman rivers. Their support has been incredible in the shop and with the FlyFishTruck.
