Fly Tying Classes | Kids

Looking to bring those kids along into the world of fly fishing in 2013? The winters around here might be too cold to get them on the water, but it’s the perfect time of year to start getting them excited about the things to come. Fly tying is an integral part of the sport and helps build a deeper connection to the fish we chase and the environment they live in. There is nothing like catching a wild trout on a fly of your own creation!
We’re offering fly tying classes this winter for kids age 7-12 here at the shop starting January 22. We’re encouraging folks to sign up for a few weekly sessions which will run for 1 hour, one afternoon a week through March.
