Friday Fly Fishing Film | Blackfoot River
An opportunity to protect the Blackfoot River, the iconic Montana river featured in “A River Runs Through It”, and several of its tributaries has been reintroduced by Sen. Jon Tester earlier this year. If passed, the Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Act (BCSA) would permanently protect an additional 80’000 acres in the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex. This wilderness area is important to Montana native westslope cutthroat trout, bull trout, northern pikeminnow featured above and a huge variety of wildlife. Find out which tributaries will be protected in the video below!

The Blackfoot has not always been in such pristine condition, but if BSCA is passed it can help protect our native fish species, wildlife, and major tributaries to the Blackfoot permanently.
