The Madison Valley Ranch is a world-class fly fishing lodge on the banks of the Madison River near Ennis, Montana. This is one of the last, true fly-fishing lodges in Southwest Montana and one that we are excited to be partnering with for the 2019 season. Fins & Feathers guests are now able to stay at the lodge while fishing with our core group of Montana fly fishing guides.

The Madison River has a very bright future ahead of it with the Hebgen Dam repairs officially completed in 2018. Cold water will be feeding the Madison River Valley throughout the hot, summer months for the second season since 2009! We expect to see much improved fishing conditions in the ever-popular July, August, and September months as compared to the last several years.

The Madison Valley Ranch is a great choice for our guests that are looking for the more traditional fly fishing lodge experience while focusing on fishing the Madison River. Gourmet meals are offered daily with friendly, personalized service from everyone at the lodge. Well-appointed rooms and easy access to some of the best wade-fishing on the river is literally just out the backdoor.

Fins & Feathers of Bozeman’s guides meet our clients at the lodge in the mornings following breakfast. The days are generally spent floating various sections of the upper Madison or morning sessions on Ennis Lake. This is great option for our guests that are looking for 2-4 days of guided fly fishing in the Madison Valley.
