Memorial Weekend Outlook

Rivers are getting high and dirty with the great weather we’ve had this week, but there are still plenty of fishing options for the holiday weekend. Last Saturday was the opener for the general fishing season and most of the smaller tributaries are now open. Streams are running fast now, but you can still find clear water and good fishing in some of the mountain creeks. Hyalite Creek below the resevoir has been fishing good, but remember the creeks above the resevoir aren’t open yet. Lakes are another great option now with Hebgen, Canyon Ferry, Quake, Cliff and Wade all been producing well.
