Patagonia Built by Danner Boot Review

Our Bozeman fly shop, after fishing in the Patagonia built by Danner wading boots for the last year has found the boot to be top tier when it comes to durability and performance. We are excited to have a variety of sizes of the Foot Tractors and River Salt wading boots. Patagonia has a tried and true mission to reduce waste and protect our planet.

If you are searching for the most comfortable and stable boot on the market, look no further than the Patagonia Foot Tractor for winter days on the Gallatin or your favorite sneaky stream in Southwest Montana.

After a few years of fishing in the Patagonia rubber soled River Salt boots it was clear that these boots are designed for comfort, durability and traction. The ultra wide base took some time getting used to, but once accustomed, I managed to walk around the Gallatin like I were hiking up a mountain. These boots certainly feel more like a hiking boot than a wading boot which I found more attractive than I expected. Supreme comfort and control was backed by the feeling of stability on even the slipperiest of rocks. While these boots felt heavy in hand, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was unable to notice the extra weight while fishing. The Patagonia wading boot will be a great long-lasting boot capable of providing support and comfort. After 2 years of use and abuse these boots remain in excellent condition. The leather might not look pretty but the function of the boots remain superb. The same certainly goes for the more durable and heavy duty Foot Tractors.
