Proposed Pipeline Under the Gallatin River

A pipeline that has been proposed under the Gallatin River has folks in Gateway concerned. This pipeline would be constructed to support a possible “Glamping Getaway” right on the river. Folks are right to be skeptical about projects like this as any altercation to the river bed/bank can be harmful to the riparian zone and inhabiting wildlife. Beyond possibly harming the river habitat I don’t think many people would enjoy looking at a “glamping getaway” while recreating on this beautiful river.
