Rain!!!

It’s snowing again…no, wait that’s rain! Now it’s starting to feel like spring around here. It looks like we’re in for a 72 hour drizzle. Runoff has kind of started already, but the rain should melt lower elevation snow quickly and jump start the late runoff. Evidence of this is already out there. I checked the Gallatin on the way to work yesterday morning and it was chalky but today it’s dirty and noticeably higher. Also checking the Yellowstone on the webcam near Gardiner it looks dirty. We should gain some snow at high elevations but my guess is overall we’ll lose more than we gain so looks like we might finally be into run off. There’s always somewhere to catch fish so stop on by to catch up on the latest reports or just for a little fishy BS.
