If there is one thing that we are really all about at Fins & Feathers of Bozeman, it is “all about the bugs!” Fly selection and quality has been our emphasis from our first day in business back in 2000. Southwest Montana is a huge region to cover in terms of the fisheries and it would be impossible to carry every pattern for every hatch on every piece of water in the region. However, we have always managed our fly selection with an eye towards making sure that we have a pattern for every situation an angler might come across. From Daisy Chainin’ Tarpon to spinner suckin’ Rainbow’s, our goal is to always have choice patterns that are of premium quality and tied on premium hooks.

This is the time of year when our bins start to fill up as we anticipate the demand for the season ahead. Although flies have become harder and harder to source the last few years, having an awesome selection and availability of everyone’s “fly they have to have” is what keeps us up at night. We have had over 15000 flies come into the store in the last week alone, and we are still tens of thousands short of our June/July capacity!
