Windy day on the Stone

Had a chance to get out and fish the Yellowstone yesterday for the first time this winter. We floated from Pine Creek to mayors, and had some decent fishing. The temperature was up in the 50s but the wind was also gusting up near the same. The fish were chasing better than you’d expect for February, and everyone caught some fish on streamers. If I could do it over again I would probably do a shorter float, and spend some time out of the boat fishing the inside bends, but all in all not a bad winter day on the stone!
