YNP Fly Fishing Reports
YNP Report 10/29/2021
Current Conditions
Yellowstone National park has been fishing well as the browns begin to make their way into the park. Head to the Madison if you want to swing streamers for large lake run browns. Soft hackles and BWOs will be good on the Firehole as the water temps remain stable. The park is less busy but be prepared to meet some other fisherman along the way. if you want to avoid the crowds I suggest you go on a hike to find a piece of water to yourself. Nymphing will consist of stonefly patterns, flashy attractors, and mayfly nymphs.
The Park closes after November 1st. So get your fishing in while you can in this next week.
Remember to pinch barbs and no lead in Yellowstone National Park.
The Park is closed to fishing for the season. Get out there next year!
