YNP Report 9/27/2020

    Current Conditions

The park is still an excellent fly fishing option. Subsurface fishing has been the best throughout the the park. Soft hackles, nymphs and small streamers have all been quite effective. After this rain a worm will be a great option as well. Olive, brown, and black have been our go to colors for streamers. The cool nights will fast track the BWO's, one of our last shots at match the hatch dry fly fishing of the year. There have been a few here and there but not great numbers of those big beatis quite yet.

As always when in the Park, bring your bear spray and be respectful of the thermal features and the "no tread" zones. Read your regulations and know what's up.
