Greycliffs Ranch Activities

Grey Cliffs Ranch activity options:

Sporting clays, bow & rifle/pistol ranges: Let us take you shooting our 5 stand course set in a private canyon with automatic clay throwers. We also have some bow & arrow, pistol, and rifle options. We provide all guns, safety/instructions, lessons & ear protection. We charge $35.00 per box of shotgun shells/clays and the current rates for any other ammo. We only allow a non-lead shot on our sporting clays range.

Trout ponds: A one-acre pond just off the lodge lawn holds huge rainbow trout. Our second three-acre pond is a short drive to the other side of the ranch. It is also known for having quality rainbow trout. We have some fly rods available for guests to use for catch and release fishing. No charge

We have a pottery studio next to the lodge and resident artist Licia Lucas-Pfadt offers lessons to guests ranging from $50.00-$100.00. Decorating pottery, hand building, and wheel throwing are all options.

Massages are available through a great licensed therapist Amy Feddes. She will come out to the lodge and do a massage on-site. Her rate is $120.00 per hour with a two-hour minimum.

Guided horseback rides: Ride with our outfitter into the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park. $105.00 half-day, $225.00 half-day private ride. Trailhead is 1.5 hours from the lodge. Or, add on an overnight pack trip before or after your stay with us.

Cooking classes with Chef Rory: Utilizing local, often ranch produced ingredients from our organic garden, chickens, or beehives; classes can be a three-hour meal prep, or simpler hour-long, item specific recipe. $25.00 per hour per person.

Mountain Biking: We can rent the latest full suspension mountain bikes from a shop in Bozeman and have them here for you to ride. The 5,200-acre ranch offers miles of back roads perfect for moderate to active mountain biking. Rental fee: $60.00 per bike per day

Hiking: We can do a guided hike on the ranch. You are also welcome to hike the ranch roads through the property. Because of the wild nature of the ranch, we do not recommend hiking cross country off-trail on the ranch.

Tubing the river: A popular summer activity with the locals. We have inflatable tubes you are welcome to use to float the gentle Madison river. $25.00 each per day

*activities are based on availability and scheduling, it is recommended to have horseback riding, massage, & classes reserved in advance. Please email us if you would like to include any of these activities to your Bozeman fly fishing vacation with Fins & Feathers of Bozeman at Greycliff's Ranch.

*Grey Cliffs Ranch has a full bar and wine list available for guests, personal alcohol is not allowed.
